can it handle it
« on: July 18, 2002 - 11:29:35 PM »
I want to build an engine like the one they did in mopar muscle the 360 that put out 608 some odd horse power but i don't think the stroker kit i want to buy can handle it heres the website. I'm not sure which kit i want but it needs to be able to handle 650 horse at least.

http://www.flatlanderracing.com/stroker340416.html

and if you know of any other stroker kit companies i'd like to know which other ones are out there.
Thanks

Not enough info , How long are the Pro-line rods
I would just build my own Get the crank from Mopar or Eagle,  Manley or Lunati rods with a longer than stock lenght & have a custom piston made to fit the combo with a raised pin height. Y ;)ou can lose a lot of power if the rod ratio is not maintained
