haha....now I KNOW that you have some insight here....What do you do with your transmissions? other than shift them.

You have 3 options
1) drop the VB and replace the seal
2) buy/borrow the tool, the socket part has teeth that catch the seal and enable it to be pulled out from top.  You then press new seal in with tool.
3) Some suggest just using a pick to pry out the seal from the top and then use the appropriate sized socket to press in new seal.  With this method don't need the tool.

When you see the tool it will be obvious how it works.

Alright I need a transmission education.

I got under the car yesterday and the trans is soaked from front to back. I cleaned it off and took it for a short drive and the whole thing is soaked again.

Could the trans be overfilled and it's seeping through the pan gasket? this seems to be the area that the worst...

I feel like my options are limited as I bet every seal is gone. I am thinking about lowering the fluid level, adding some stop leak, running it for the season, ripping it out over the winter and getting it rebuilt.

What options are out there for a good auto transmission as a direct fit replacement part? anyone have any experience?

If the only problem is a few leaks, I wouldn't go to the expense of having the entire thing rebuilt.  Clean off the trans and let it idle in the driveway.  Block the wheels to be safe and get under there are see where it's coming from.  Don't forget to check the lines.  They could be loose.

I replaced the neutral safety switch, speedo seal, selector seal and the pivot shaft leaked.

Check this, common problem that will make you think the gasket is the problem.

I read this are you talking about packing in silicone at the end of the transmission where the driveshaft joins? how would you do that? as soon as the drive shaft turns it breaks the RTV you just put in?

I feel like if i am going to replace all the seals ont he trans it's going to be easier with it out of the car?

What is circled in that picture?  It doesn't look familiar to me.  That must be on 727's only?  I don't think there is anything like that on a 904.

haha sorry i'm the dumb one here, i'm trying to view them at work and out high security blocks the images. Ignore my last comment I will look at them at home. At first glance I did not realise it included a picture. I am going to get the rear end off the ground, fire up the engine and let it run off the ground in the garage to see if i can see the leaks in real time. I will have lots to update by the end of the weekend.
