NJ Machine Shops
« on: June 11, 2014 - 07:54:24 PM »
Looking for a reputable machine ship in NJ (preferably North/Central Jersey)with reasonable pricing. I'll soon have a 440 that will need to be sonic checked and worked through for a stroker build.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations

If you know someone with an Angie's List account, they can allow you to sign in
using their account, and check for feedback on engine builders. I have a friend in Seattle,
and I use her account, even though I search an area 300 miles away.

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Cerelli quoted me the following:

Sonic check: $80
Magnaflux: $96
Hot tank: $80

Is this reasonable?
