rear bumper/valance question
« on: June 18, 2014 - 07:51:31 PM »
I know I have some mismatch going on here. It appears that tge original owner was going to tuck the rear bumper. Therefore I know I have tge wrong rear bumper brackets. My question is if I was to stay that route, what is everyone using to fill the gap below tge rear bumper to the rear valance? If I was to buy the correct brackets for the rear bumper; just fitting up the bumper to the filler panels theres going to be a large gap between the rear bumper and lip of the rear valance. Am I missing a piece of sheetmetal that runs from the th op of the rear valance thus filling the void between the bottom of the rear bumper and valance?

On 70-71 Cuda's there's always a gap below the rear bumper. :2cents:
