72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

don't know, but i would not have the fuel line running for a foot or two in front of engine,
where it gets heated by the air from the radiator.  I have mine coming from the side. Or,
you could insulate the line.

the fuel line would do a U from the fuel pump & come up near the heater hoses around the dist & into the carb , the vapor separator was only used on 3/8 line cars with the extra return line but the filter I believe was positioned in the same area , of course the line would be different depending if the 383 was equipped with a Holley carb / front connection or an AVS / right rear connection .
