:iagree: You're quite a guy Al

Yea well I apparently had no idea how to travel via the interstate, didn't know there was any difference in GPS's, or have a clue how the world economy works.
With Alan's guidance even I was able to drive the entire 12+hrs home with hardly an incident, know next time to bring a Garman, still don't understand the world economy but apparently the Queen of England has a key roll  :clueless:

Yeah, like you don't actually have a blower on your motor.    :smilielol:

Got there Thursday at noon.  Walked all the vendors and got the lay of the land so to speak.   Met up with Brad who graciously let me share a room with him.  Went back Friday and walked it all again in the heat.  Since I had never been before didn't want to miss anything.  Watched half the Ebody  people under the hood of Brad's car trying to sort him out.  It was really great to see everyone helping one of their own.  chryco psycho tweaked my car for me and now it runs a heck of a lot better and better gas mileage too!!!   He even adjusted my door latch for me cause he said it didn't work right.  I didn't even know it could be adjusted. :clueless:

He then wanders off to the next car down the line and started fixing stuff.  All he needed was a cape and a big S on his chest.  Most gracious help out anybody kind of guy I've ever seen.  Many thanks from me.

Friday night pizza and beer at the hotel.   Great time had by all.  No one went skinny dipping in the pool which was a good thing by the look of most of these guys.  viperman and his wife were great hosts and their adorable daughter is a trooper of the first degree,  she took the heat better than the rest of us did.  Later Friday night brad and I walked over to the local diner for a snack.  Steak and cheese subs which were great.   We walked back to the room and all he'll broke loose with my stomach.   I destroyed the bathroom :22yikes:   It was horrible, even MY Eyes were watering.  Was waiting for Brad to throw me out it was so bad in the room,  but I think the noxious odors made him too weak to get up and toss me out.   :eek4:

4am brads up to work on his car (personally I think the lingering odor drove him out) and. I went with him to hold the flashlight.  Car was patched up, and back to show for Saturday.  Walked all over the place again, had a great lunch provided by viperman and some more beer.  Late afternoon I decided to get out of dodge and head home.  My stomach was flaring up again and didn't have the heart to torture Brad thru another night.  Drove the 3 hours home and it ran great thanks to Chryco.

Being a new member I must say this is the best group of people I've ever seen.  They made me feel welcome and introduced me to everyone and made me feel at home.  Thank you everyone for all the hospitality.

I will now to go back to downing more pepto bismol because that cheese steak is still talking it me.   :pullinghair:

It was great meeting you Tim

We had a great time too!  We spent an inordinate amount of time and walking dealing with our alternator issue, but all is well and we made it home fine.  My cousin really enjoyed the dinner, as did we....so glad we could make it this year! We stayed for the bikini contest and burnouts and came back sunday to find another alternator piece....we will remember this trip!  LOL

What a great group of folks!  I we had not missed the grubb at the tent....I am told it was awesome! Just having some fun conversation under the tent really rounds out event.....and finally meeting Shelby, Moparal and Chryco for the first time was awesome!

Mike, are you thinking about the story I told you when "blownMotor" was riding in my car, and I asked if he had a blower, then he said he blew up his motor?

His name was Murray, not Wade.

Yep thanks I made it home with no issues  about an hour ago.    I wired the electric fans with a toggle switch so I could shut them off when on the hwy so the battery could charge . Worked great! Thanks all! I was a little "tense" when it started raining about half way home then all out  pouring. I was worried the new tires would be a death trap in the rain but surprisingly they worked great!

Just getting home abnd looked at the Carlisle web site and just realized it was Ralph Gilles videoing my car as I merged onto the Penn Pike heading home after the show Saturday night. He was driving the sublime Hellcat and tromped on it . For a second I was "In" but with my alternator issue I thought I needed to get home more! Would have been interesting to see compare our engines torque ! :naughty:

Brad and I were headed to the Motel Friday evening gettin on the Turnpike ramp Brad hauled azz down the pike along side Ralph Gillis
caught up to him a mile down the road....... :burnout:  only cause he slowed down.........
