I honestly didn't take in even 1/2 of what was available, saw maybe 1/2 the cars in the field but stayed away from the vendors & displays as that was not what I went there for.
Meeting the folks from Cuda-Challenger was foremost on my agenda so I spent most of my time around the tent.  Yea I was blown away by the fraternity & look forward to returning in the future.
Maybe then I will take in the "Show"

The show was awesome. No disappointment for sure. I too only saw about half of it in two days but I spent a lot of time at the tent also. It was great to have a place to go to and sit and recharge. Meeting lots of members was a highlight and the comradery of everyone plus the hospitality of the group leaders made the whole weekend memorable and you left there wanting more. Can't wait to go back but I know I won't make it next year. Another great moment for me was following Jeff back to the hotel after the show Friday. He rolled off the ramp onto the turnpike and unleashed the Viper  :burnout: Made my 340 look like four cylinder.  :walkaway:

Was a great show, swap was very large, had all kinds of parts and vendors. Saw about 3/4 of the show, didn't go look at all the newer cars as even though I like them, I deal with them everyday. It s a very long way for me. Maybe every 5yrs or so would be good. I do Vegas every year and that's a 16-17hr drive. It's nice to recharge with a group of friends but in Vegas you can recharge and also watch drag racing.
I think if I had to choose between Carlisle and the Nats it would be the Nats, due to the drag racing and lack of hills in the show area.

I was blown away by it all...... never saw so many Mopars (didn't even think there were that many!)       Like others, I didn't get to everything...... but I did put on a few miles.   I walked through the swap meet a few times and saw a lot of the cars.   I didn't focus on the new stuff either...... but I like the fact that it was there as I did see a lot of "younger" folks in that area -- which is good.

Overall, it was simply terrific.   BUT - the best part was the Cuda-Challenger tent and getting to (try) and put names with avatars.   (I'm terrible in remembering names)    The level of friendliness and sense of fellowship with the  folks on this site at the Show was (and is) very special.

Thanks to all - I hope to make it back next year - assuming I survive my upcoming Alaskan road trip.

The grounds are huge and well maintained.  They have the Nats beat at that.  It was nice to walk paved roads the entire weekend.  The Nats is dusty and muddy when it rains.  The car count was larger too.  However, if you remove the sea of new Challengers, Chargers, Neons and trucks, the car count is comparable.

The swap meet is huge.  If you are looking for a part that is a good thing.  If you are selling, it's not so good.  I thought the midway area was a lot smaller then the Nats although the swap is a lot bigger.

I did miss the sound of the race cars.  I normally don't watch the racing but it does add to the atmosphere.

Carlisle was a good time but for me, the Nats is still king.  Carlisle is an extra six hour drive compared to Columbus.  I'll go to Carlisle again but it probably won't be an every year event.
