I've seen this trend get worse the last 2 years.
Ebay along with Barratt Jackson are to blame.
Let's put it there for a moment; over exposing our beloved cars to people that never heard of a Mopar.
Now they want one, and they have the cash.
Problem is there are not many Hi-po Mopars made to begin with.
Now it's 30+ years later and even less exsist.
Here comes the clones to fill the void.
I'm sure that car will have a Hemi between the fenders by next year.
New Hemi $12000. car $7000. parts/paint $35,000 to $49,999. someone giving you $200,000. for your efforts,.... sucker.
I believe there people doing this for a living. That's great, find a trend fill the need, free enterprise.
I'd do it if I had the money. Who doesn't like making money building your favorite Muscle car.
Now the parts and NOS crowd wants a piece of the pie. Seems like every part on Ebay was for or looks like it came off a Hemi Cuda. Jack jack jack up the price, you need it.
We as the real hobbyist and 1st class citizens in the Mopar life style, will never give in to this trend.
The "come-along-to-make-a-buck people," well leave after the money is wrench out of these cars.
In the near future, if we don't have one already, we will be out of luck. Most of us don't have expendable income to compete with rolercoaster prices that keep climbing up and up and up.
When people stop paying $100,000. $500,000. millions for these cars, the insanity will stop.
Beam, Ghost good luck I suggest the local paper.
Can I hear an Amen brother or 1 of these >
