I really and truly feel for you young guys still in HS or college, absolutey your whole life is ahead of you, but that usually also includes families and homes. And the cost of every thing today is unbelieveable, including our beloved Mopars. What do you do? All I could suggest is whatever you do don't put yourself in a $$$$$$$ position where you may loose anything. To a point I very much relate to what your facing as far as the car scene thing, granted, I'm an old fart but I'm always dreaming about just one more for the "barn", but hey I also want to retire in a about 4 years and I have to be careful not to screw up that financially speaking by going out and buying just one more. Laugh if you may, and say "oh sure", but if I was a multi $$$$$$ rich bastard I'd buy each of you youngsters a Mopar because I know first hand the thrill and joy and excitement they can give a guy, or a gal. Don't loose sight of your dream but keep your eyes on the reality of life, love ya all.

I hear ya. I know i cant lower the prices on cudas. But i know theres got to be some one out there with a 71 project cuda for a good price, that i can get( lol Hemi Hunters friend  :ack: )

Man.... prices like this make me glad I love the old wagons, and the 71-74 Mopars.  At this rate, those will be the only ones I can afford. :newsad:

When it isnt a complete car, the prices can ADD UP QUICK. The guy that bought my grand coupe for 12k got a great deal. 100 percent. Burpin got the better deal however. teehee

I've seen this trend get worse the last 2 years.

Ebay along with Barratt Jackson are to blame.
Let's put it there for a moment; over exposing our beloved cars to people that never heard of a Mopar.
Now they want one, and they have the cash.
Problem is there are not many Hi-po Mopars made to begin with.
Now it's 30+ years later and even less exsist.
Here comes the clones to fill the void.

I'm sure that car will have a Hemi between the fenders by next year.
New Hemi $12000. car $7000. parts/paint $35,000 to $49,999. someone giving you $200,000. for your efforts,.... sucker.

I believe there people doing this for a living. That's great, find a trend fill the need, free enterprise.
I'd do it if I had the money. Who doesn't like making money building your favorite Muscle car.

Now the parts and NOS crowd wants a piece of the pie. Seems like every part on Ebay was for or looks like it came off a Hemi Cuda. Jack jack jack up the price, you need it.

We as the real hobbyist and 1st class citizens in the Mopar life style, will never give in to this trend.
The "come-along-to-make-a-buck people," well leave after the money is wrench out of these cars.

In the near future, if we don't have one already, we will be out of luck. Most of us don't have expendable income to compete with rolercoaster prices that keep climbing up and up and up.

When people stop paying $100,000. $500,000. millions for these cars, the insanity will stop.

Beam, Ghost good luck I suggest the local paper.

Can I hear an Amen brother or 1 of these >  :iagree:

Hows about this one...

71fish

He's wanting$7,500 up from $6,500 for that cuda. It has 0% floors and trunk. Oh, but it could be a hemi clone. I'm starting to think that there is'nt any one out there willing to cut a deal on a 71 cuda project. By the time i've saved up $10,000 bucks for a "project" 71 cuda.  The price will have gone up to $20,000 for the same car. But i will not give up. I've waited to long and got scrwed out of to many deals to give up. There has to be some one out there with a 71 cuda project, that will work with me.  :dontknow:  :newsad:

Actually, I got a line about a clean 67 Coronet Wagon, for a couple hundred bucks.  I'm looking into it right now. ;D
