    Does anybody else find their steering box mounting bolts need to be tightened every now and then? I found my steering a little imprecise last week. Checked the bolts and all three needed to be tightened! It happened once before a couple years ago.
    Do you guys use lock-tite on these bolts?

    Did the factory use some kind of thread locking compound?

    Generally no , the bolts will stay tight But Loctite + new lock washers are a great idea , the threads could be worn allowing them to loosen
