Help a 16 year old with his light problem

Neighbor kid dropped by the house tonight with an electrical problem in his 73 Dodge D100. Just because i have a Dodge, i guess he figured i knew how to help him with his problem. I checked everything i knew, but could not get any power to the headlights. All the other lights work,fuses are all good, but no power to lamps. I checked with a dummy light. What am i missing? Any other fuses somewhere, beside the glove box?

Down through the years I've seen several members here have issues with the Hi/Low dimmer switch on the floor.
Either not plugged in or bad... any auto parts store carry replacements.

Or, if the headlight switch is the same type as e bodies, there is a cct breaker (of a sort) inside the switch. It may have failed open.

 It is a simple circuit , power to the headlight switch , no fuse , out to the floor dimmer , through the bulkhead connector to the lights , you could add relays once you get power to the front

Thanks for the help. He has tail lights and front marker lights, but no headlights. So it is possible that it is the floor dimmer switch?

I also failed to mention that his windshield wipers do not work either. But that is probably another project. Right now he is more concerned about driving at nights. You know how these 16 year olds think.

Yes only the headlights are wired through the floor dimmer switch
