Best supplier/info on '70/'71 440+6 torque converters
« on: April 25, 2005 - 07:09:31 PM »
Looking to find the best source for a new/rebuilt torque converter for a '71 440 HP six pack tranny. I know that the converter was externally balanced and want to make sure the source for my friend's rebuild or new converter know what they are doing. Also, does anyone know the diameter of an original six pack converter housing? Anyone have a pic? I would like to email him a copy or what it's suppose to look like.

Thanks..
