Good looking car, I always liked those colours on a 70 R/T.

Hi,

and thank you for your replies! :)

Yes I have a garage both for summer and winter. My other old car had to move out :) but meanwhile I found another garage in the surrounding area, so both are safe.

Other wheels will depend on the licensing. I have to license it as a "historic vehicle", otherwise I would have to pay another 15k tax. This again means it has to be as original as possible. So I could probably fit some 15"s as they where available at that time, but anything bigger than that - won't work. Sometimes I wish I'd live somewhere else :s

Body side mouldings will stay for sure, as a) they really don't look that bad and b) I guess they would leave some ugly holes behind. :)

On 08/21 I got my licensing date, and I hope it will pass without problems so I finally can officially hit the road. Actually a bit earlier, as I will have to request some temporary plates for transfer. :D

Ya, some 15" rallyes w/some F60/G60-size tires would put some testosterone in the car.

More pics!  Inside, engine compartment, trunk, etc.

Before they stop making them, I would contact Dave at Roseville and order a complete door panel/rear panel/seat back set before for some reason, they stop making them.

Wish they offered them for the convertible.

Lesson learned...try to buy every reproduction part you need NOW, before they stop making them.

I'm in the very south east of Lower Austria, not very far away from the hungarian border.

Hi,

it took a bit longer than promised, but here are some more pics:

Got my temporary plates (for a horribly high price) and I'm ready to go tomorrow for my first trip to the valuer/surveyor/don't know how you'd call it in english. :)
