A little DEI propaganda... The temp probes are about 1" apart, the one without protection shows 523 degrees, just an inch away the probe reads 70 degrees.... What isn't shown is how long the torch has been in position.... What I can say is after a 2+ hour drive my carpet is still at ambient temperature... Yes there are plenty of cheaper products that work Ok, I've tried quite a few.. But nothing I've tried equals the stuff from DEI... And honestly when your comfortably cruising around on a hot day will the extra $25-30 matter?

Oh, and as a further testimony to how it works I just ordered another 40 sf ft for the roof of my station wagon.....
