Help with air compressor and water

The more use it got the more water it produced. When I used the air gun it put out a mist about 2-3 feet long. Water was also coming out of the DA sander.
I took them to a body shop to get painted. I'm heading out on holidays for a week they should be done when I get back. Just bought the paint this morning.

It sounds like you have water in the hoses as well. Next time you may invest in a dryer for the system. I know I have used them in commercial booths where air has to be dry all the time.

they also sell a air dryer for air brushing that fits a roll of toilet paper I bought one at a yard sale years ago cant locate  it at the moment to show ya  works great

Thats a Motorguard brand filter, I use to use one it worked well but being made of cast aluminum it rotted from the inside... Wish it were made of plastic...

I've got an intercooler between the pump & tank, plus a copper pipe air cooling tower & a desiccant filter at the tank outlet plus a dual 3 micron filter... With what paint costs these days & how much work it takes to correct water splotches in a paint job I felt it was worthwhile making an extra effort to prevent water getting into my piping..
