yes , should be an orange wire with a socket under the console , it will dim with the dash lighting

Are you sure the wire is not under the carpet , I think it drops down near the heater box

It should drop down in the PS kick panel.  Then it runs under the carpet to the console.  It gets taped to the floor with a black cloth tape.

I believe that wire plugs into the orange molded plug under the dash. 

Just to add to the confusion, mine runs up the trans tunnel under the carpet then up the firewall to the dash.

I haven't looked into it at all yet. I'll do some exploratory surgery this winter. It'll give me something to tinker with for an afternoon.  :working:
