Throttle cable advice
« on: April 12, 2015 - 04:54:39 PM »
Throttle cable in my Challenger is showing signs of wear and needs replacing.
I've heard good things about the Lokar systems but there are so much references...
Would you get a stock replacement cable or an aftermarket one ?

The car is a 71 383 automatic Challenger, with 570 cfm Holley Street Avenger carb (will be replaced by a 750 soon), stock kickdown linkage.
Thanks !

My stock kickdown linkage was all bent and worn out so my choices were limited on a short time frame. I went with the Lokar and it works fairly decent and was not horrible to setup. I now have a decent working accelerator cable and kickdown.
