I've read some previous threads reagarding this very topic but did not find one where this question was raised. Does anyone know if the 1970 3 cable system will work on 1973?

If you weld on the 70 style bracket to the driver's side rear frame rail so that the two rear cables can meet on the one side, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Anyone have a picture of where the bracket mounts. Also where can i but the bracket? I assume that I could get it from Dave at Roseville.

I believe it will be easier and cheaper to just buy the cable for t.he 73. Do you have the J-hook adjuster and the corner brackets that fit on the cable?

Yeah......I thought about that. I have all of the hardware. I had already bought a set that i have had for a while. Unfortunately they are the 70 style. I figured out what i am going to do. I'm going to call the company tomorrow and see if they will allow me to return some of the parts and make the parts that i need. I did find my intermediate cable with the adjuster attached. i just need the cable that attaches to the foot pedal what is that cable called? I don't think that i have that part. Thanks for your responses. Your help is always appreciated.
