Use a soldering iron for the seat and seatbelt holes.........
And that's exactly what I did.
I had an extra/old soldering iron and read somewhere on this forum about using one.
Worked like a champ too.  :2thumbs:

I will probably use it on my dimmer switch on the floor for a nice round hole.

Thank you for bringing that up.

Good tip, I wish I had known that before I poked the holes for my seatbelts with a screwdriver....

Well I have the beast of a carpet installed.
I just need to message the front part and trim the edges, shifter area and dimmer switch. Then melt the holes for seat brackets.

Because I didn't have the old carpet to go off of for size/shape/cuts, I was dealing with this extra plush/extra backing and insulation with excess on the front and sides (heavy). Man what a bear. After I trimmed about 4 inches in the front and 3 inches on each side, it made a big difference in sliding it up in there. Now just a trimming to finish it.

And yes, the more I fought with it, the more I  :drunk: but I prevailed.

Now I will add a tip. Install the carpet BEFORE installing the dash and heater blower stuff. That would have made life so much easier.  :2thumbs:
