Engine is back together. Much better performance rpm-wise. I'm getting 6100 before float.  May need larger plug in for MSD box.
Removed nitrous hardware but 750 Holley still jetted to big. Carbons up.
Former race car getting more street worthy, lol.
Next: fine tuning, time run at strip, replace LOUD
"Spin Tech" almost-mufflers with Flowmasters. My apologies to my good neighbors, lol. Parts listed in "parts for sale".   :D

If someone can post pics for me I'll email some to you.

I'm getting 6,000 rpm now instead of 5, so that's much better. I get up to 110 mph before flutter, that's 10 mph more. But I know this torque monster has more in it, lol.  I'm sure it's a mid to low 12 second setup with some fine tuning at around 120?  So shoot some suggestions out.

My suspicion is the Holley 750 that was jetted for nitrous. It runs way rich, and I still get carbon build up. Some of you recommended an 850 carb and I may go that route. But I'd like to rejet this 750 first to see if that helps. What size jets?

She looks good though, and i can't get away from a gas station without someone taking pictures.

Ok guys, the changes improved the rpm from 5,000 to 6,000. Neal, you recommended going from a 750 to an 850 carb. I read that you like Proform. EBay has a street strip Proform for around $460. That's $110 less than a Quick Flow. Which Proform model do you recommend? Thanks, Greg.

If you do not run it in cold weather I go with the race series Proform

What is it about  the race one that's  better than the street carb?
