Hi guys. Could someone tell me what size and type of thread tap I would need to clean up the damper bolt threads on a 340 crank. I can see there's a bad spot on the first 2 threads and the bolt threads are being flattened by it. I only went in one turn and new it was tight. Thanks to all replies.

Run a die over the bolt to determine the right size.

Good idea but my tap and die set doesn't go that big so I have to buy what ever size it is.
