Do I need to paint/dye these parts? If so, what do I use?

No need to paint them if you buy the best quality available. I buy mine from DALE'S CUDA SHOP :2thumbs:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I got the go wing from a buddy that picked it up from Year One. It was the cheaper version. Will that require some paint? Do I have to cut the inside of my trunk lid to mount it? The lid I from a 1972 Cuda.

No cutting required, the provisions for the mounting should be there.

Not sure about paint... probably not  :clueless:

If the wing is a cheap aftermarket, it's probably going to sag in the middle.   I've been thinking on this after seeing several saggy wings.
If  mine were sagging (which it's not), I would try elongating the mounting holes towards the center of the decklid and when you mount slightly pinch the wing legs together and kinda put it under tension with a slight arch.... doan know if this will work but IMO it would be worth trying with a cheap wing before buying a new one.......

Good deal. It pretty hard plastic, but it may sag over time. Aren't the originals made from plastic to?
