« on: October 11, 2014 - 02:23:06 PM »
Has anyone else seen this article in Mcg ?
I fired off an email to the maker Baxtekmoto and they said its set up to accept the Mopar pinion snubber, is avail in any width, any brg type any gear, a TruTrac diff and Strange 35 spline axles for $3850.00 on asle for $3465.00. Any thoughts? I know Dr.Diff is the guy to go to and maybe he will add this to his line of products in the future. :dunno:

What's the weight savings?

Just an aluminum center or is the entire housing aluminum?

So just got a reply about wieght and its about 85lb less than a iron D60.
For a B-body width A60 with stock brg is 180lb vs stock D60 @ 265lb.
Does that stock wieght seem correct for those that have one?

From what I've heard gear sets don't last as long in aluminum carriers. Aluminum expands more than cast iron with temperature changes.  :dunno: :2cents:  Great weight savings though!  :2thumbs:
