New hemi swap, 5.7 in 1970 Cuda, Which exhaust manifold????
« on: October 26, 2014 - 09:52:13 AM »
I'm working on a '70 Cuda with a 2004 5.7 hemi.
Just out of curiosity what are people using for exhaust manifolds?
I really don't want headers, just a nice stock Mopar exhaust manifold. Not looking for big power, basically stock motor to be a driver.
Thanks in advance.

You might want to detail what you are using for suspension, steering. Stock K member w/Tbars, power or manual steering or something like an Alterkation front suspension.
I would be interested to hear what folks have done with stock K member and power steering.

I have yet to read about any 3Gen Hemi in an Ebody running an OEM exhaust manifold. I don't think they will work. However between the Ram, Challenger, Charger, various Jeep models, etc, maybe one is out there that will work.

TTI headers are about the most common thing going for the swap, which is what I will be using.

Take a look into Jeep Cherokee manifolds. I think these have been sucessfully used before
