Next easy thing to do is changing over to LED bulbs which take less current.  Here's the rear lights, LED on left, filaments on right side.
You can see how much quicker the LEDs turn on/off, the filaments have that residual heat effect that makes them look like they are on longer.

I've been in touch with Redline, but they will only modify the stock amp gauge to a volt gauge if I send them the whole instrument cluster for them to make the mods. That just doesn't work for me, as it will be far too expensive for me to ship the cluster from Australia to the US and back again.

Is there any other place that sells a volt gauge that is ready to be installed into the ebody rallye cluster and that then looks almost stock in appearance? I'd like something that has same backplate, needle, colours and fonts as the original amp gauge. I know it's not going to be 100% original, but I want it to look like it's meant to be there.

Other than that, It's looking like I will just have to buy the Sunpro volt gauge, replace the backplate with my stock amp gauge backplate, replace the needle with my stock amu gauge needle and stick that it the cluster. Hopefully it won't look like a frankenstein assortment of bits in the end, but maybe I have no other choice.

I've sent RT-Eng a couple of emails asking about their IVR3 limiters and tach board, but have had no response as yet. I tried ringing them on their number (479) 756 1148, but that is now disconnected as well. Is this company still operating?

Are there any other sources for the solid state voltage limiters for the rallye dash cluster in an e-body?

I've seen Ebay ads posted by RT-Eng so I guess they're still around. I bought a solid state 5 volt regulator from Vans Auto at the Nat's this year. With the one from Van's you don't use the condenser/capacitor because it's a steady 5 volt output, not pulsed.

Brad,
maybe try http://www.instrument-specialties.com for the gauge, Ive been talking to them about an oil pressure gauge and tach for my dash, I know I can get them from Redline but the same problem, dont want to send them over.
