headliner bows
« on: September 30, 2014 - 10:34:31 PM »
1970 challenger.. the ends of the bows are painted. what order are the bows that are color coded. I took them out a couple of years ago. any tips for putting the headliner back in? Do you have to have the sail panel cardboard pieces? I do not see the use of them..this is a pro street car, being right is not the issue..But with that said I still want it to look good..I just can't see what they are for..

71 Challengers don't use sail panels. I'm not sure about 70, but I can't see why they would. :2cents:

I have installed the bows in the new liner, and just hung it up. the two clips that hook to the rear bow, witch way does the hook go? Also don't the side have small clips that hook to the pinch welds? How many do I need to look for? Any help or tips would be helpful.. thanks

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing the Barracuda and Challenger were the same. I just pulled mine off (70 Barracuda) last weekend, clip goes over the top
