I've got a good friend that has a REAL 1970 Challenger R/T "V" code with a sunroof   He's had the car for close to 25 years and is planning on starting the resto sometime soon.  The original roof was pretty rusted so he's managed to find 3 sunroof assemblies over the years and will be using the best one to resurect the car

As far as I've read the first year a sunroof was available on a barracuda was 1972.

I have also never seen an A body before 71-72 Demons that had a sunroof.

There are no sunroofs listed before 1969 as an option in any Mopar.

Check out the A C S brochure in the attachment,,,
I have seen a-bodies with a sliding canvas ( roll back ) roof for 1971 on a Twister.
But I don,t know if A C S  were the people who installed them.

As hard it is to believe, there were A bodies built in a factory in Belgium, and we have a few of them here in Iceland, that is this Barracuda 1968 Formula S 340 with Sunroof and a few Dodge GTS

From what I've heard about the european built mopars, and there were e bodies built there also, is that they were almost a kit car type thing....that the major assemblies were built in the US and the cars were just pieced together over there. Not a true assembly plant over there. I do believe all the e-bodies were slant 6 and 318 cars....no Cudas or Challenger R/T's.
