Boy this will open up a whole new can of worms.....     :smilielol:

My idea of a street car is one that is insured as a street car that is driven on the street, has a current state license plate, all functioning lights, and it runs on pump gas........

So they are not running on pump gas and do not have license plates.....Poking around on the internet most information states window, front/rear lights, turn signals, seat belts, and safe roadworthiness (brakes, doors, etc) are the minimum requirements.  A friend of mine has a Factory 5 1965 Cobra and had to trailer the car to the state patrol for inspection to be legal.

I think the cars of drag week are street cars. They run 1200 miles in a week. The fastest ones are in the 6 second range.
