Barracuda trunk lid?
« on: January 09, 2015 - 09:08:05 PM »

I bought a trunk lid for my car. It has what looks to be a drawer slide attached to it? It is painted the same color as the trunk lid. Does this belong on the trunk lid? What is it?

Torsion bars were probably missing on the car and they used that to prop the lid open?  Good ol' back yard engineering. :icon16:

I would suspect there is corresponding damage on the trunk rails where this may have been used to prop open the deck lid. Check it out.
