Here's my assumption...I thought with Barry's date base he was able to decide whether or not the car was a AAR or a T/A by the way they were grouped together going by the VIN on a T/A block. Meaning if it's a T/A block it's obvious it's one or the other, but with a transmission which could have come from any other car, how could he state it was an AAR/TA transmission.
For example: Lets say he has BS23J0B308456 and BS23J0B308458 in he registry. If a T/A block shows up with 0B308457 then he can assume it's for a AAR Cuda, but if it's a tranny with 0B308457 how would he know that it's not a 383Cuda ? or a 340 Cuda ? Not ALL AAR's were built together...How can he state with 100% certainty that there wasn't a Cuda mixed in with AAR's ?
