Years ago a friend of mine borrowed one and brought it to one of those Kinko Copy places and had several copies made at a fraction of the cost......Oops...I guess I should't have said that out loud  :banghead:

Well worth the cost IMO.  Nothing wrong with trying to find a used one though.

The thought has crossed my mind but I figured I'd try to buy one a little discounted from someone who has moved on to another project and just has it sitting on the shelf.

What I would really like is to be able to download a digital copy for a lower price from MMC/ICCA. I think that would be awesome. Then I could search the document for keywords. But I'm sure he wouldn't want people printing out their own copy and selling it.

I personally think it's the wave of the future. Sell the digital document and let people pay more to print it out themselves. If they want to print it, go right ahead but a printed version from them should cost less than what they could print it for.

:iagree: I would be interested in obtaining a copy as well in either format

I went ahead and emailed them my idea. We'll see what they say.

Think about how cool it would be to have on your laptop or an ipad!

Once there's a digital copy they would never sell any more.

Add me to the list, someone scan a copy.

Well Guys I got a reply back from MMC. I thanked them for reply and told them I understood that one person out there spoiled it for the rest of us.

"We are not offering digital copies at this time.  We have a breech of trust with a customer who we found to be selling our manuals digitally and we elected not to place them in a digital format until sometime in the future."

I do like how he says "until sometime in the future"... so you're sayin' there's a chance! (dumb and dumber)
