1968 Plymouth Barracuda 340 (Formula S clone in process)

1968 Plymouth Barracuda 340, original 318 car but it's being turned into a Formula S.

Orig. 340 S motor / transmission recently rebuilt w/ very low miles. Automatic trans. Beautiful bright yellow paint. All new weather stripping around glass and doors, trunk and engine compartment were also painted. First year for Chrysler Airtemp factory A/C (cold R-134A). New interior-- factory reproduction including front and rear seats, carpet and visors. New gas tank, fuel lines, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. and alumimum high-rise, K&N/Edelbrock air cleaner, fuel pump, new T/A radials. New brakes (including calipers,master and wheel cylinders ,lines, seals and rotors), adjustable shocks, dual exhaust and rebuilt oversize radiator. Runs cool all day long even in traffic on hot days.

A mild cam, new pointless distributor, and heads rebuilt to support unleaded fuel. Also has fully functional Nitrous Oxide system hooked up (has not been used and car is not timed for its use, only used for shows)

All lights work and dials work, passes inspection, no rust whatsoever. Will take you wherever you need to go. I've never seen a Barracuda from this year in such awesome shape. This car has been in storage most of it's life until it was resurrected/restored about 10 years ago. Since then it's been garage kept, lightly driven and mostly used for car shows. 140xxx original miles. Located in Austin, TX. asking $30,000 OBO. I'll post better pics later.

Maybe a mod should change the heading or pull the ad?? The wording in the ad is misleading!

Ah yeah, someone else called me out on that in a different forum. I didn't know before but... you're right-- originally was a 318 car, and the guy that had it before me wanted it to be an S clone therefore the new motor swap / trans/ exhaust. I've been working on it myself and I've got the correct exhaust tips on the way just need to weld them on. The hood does have the correct 340-S inserts. Newbie error. I'll edit the ad to reflect.
