1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

what happens when the gasses from the exhaust deteriorates the rubber bladder and you want to use it a year later

I use to use air bags to raise a corner of a overhead cranes to change wheels. Most I picked up with an air bag is only 150,000 lbs at 90psi of air. I always used oak to crib up after I got it up but like the ideal for cars. I know it will scare people until they are use to it.
Its just a little 340 with a miss

the only  problem I see is the gases and acid in exhaust deteriorating the rubber over time. An example is: when I had my Harley I bought a emergency tire repair kit that had a hose to inflate the tire by removing a spark plug and connecting this hose between the valve core and 1 cylinder. Then using just the starter to pump air from the cylinder into the tire. Worked great, would pump up the tire in just a couple of minutes. 6 months later when I had another flat , the inside of the tire looked like it was made out of snot and old condoms.

Where did you get that kit Outlaw. Sounds like a good Christmas present for my old man. He is a Harley rider and I hate being a good boy and picking him up in my pickup.

 I got it from J.C.Whitney, don't know if they still have them. I was glad I had it as I was way out in the middle of nowhere and caught a piece of fence wire. Had a tire plug in the kit to fix it with but no way to pump it up. That hose was worth it's weight in gold that night...LOL

Random thought, I wonder if that airbag would work with a dual exhaust that has a crossover pipe...

Aris - I think a crossover would be a problem.   The exhaust would follow the path of least resistance, which would be out the open tailpipe.
