A little confusion about indicator lens weld in.

Hey all,
I'm a little confused about the indicator weld in on the rallye dash. Are the lenses welded to the black shroud or to the white tubes. I was looking at a previous post and this is what i saw. My car is a 1973 Challenger.

Mine are in the bezel, tube presses up against the bezel.

Mine are the same as Katfish. From the picture above, I think the brake indicator should be far right.  Turn signals are together to the left. From left to right should be: left turn, right turn, brake. My car is a 70.
