« on: January 19, 2015 - 07:52:36 PM »
everything you see in pics i believe this is all of the linkages to install it came from a 70 challenger. ratchet works has a normal screw holding the handle on instead of the set screw and the chrome has pitting. 300 obo plus shipping from northern michigan

not sure about a 71 but i do know that 72-74 had the plastic T handle that seemed to always crack.

The 1970 "Slap Stik" shifter is indeed a one year only piece because of the round handle. The black slider piece has a round hole instead of the oval hole used on 1971-1973 shifters which had the black plastic "T" handle shifter.
Now in 1974 they went back to the round  wood grain ball but the clear plastic lens no longer said "Slap Stik", and I don't believe the 74 shifters had that ability.

$300 is a tad high in my opinion, but they are getting harder to find :2cents:

Thanks for the info on the 1970 slap stick. Of course like everything else for my '70 Challenger it's one year only.

I agree it seems high. Just my opinion too.

i wasn't sure on pricing and i am open to offers. i looked on evilbay to price it and in order to get the shifter and linkages it added up in the 400 to 500 so i started at 300. i don't have to sell it but since my car came with 2 of them and i plan to put a 4 speed in it i figured i could sell them and put the money towards my rear floor pans. i'm also open to trades for other parts.i'm just starting on my car and need just about every body panel.
