That is one cool picture.
when i lived in the northern u.p. of michigan,never saw lake superior scupture anything remotely to that although there were alot of cool formations off shore.
it would take one heck of a ice auger to get through that ice for lake trout fishing.
it's 3 degrees f here in st paul today and feels like a heat wave compared to yesterday when we had -35 below windchill.man was that brutel........
i poured some coffee getting getting out of the car in the morning and it froze solid to the aspault in a matter of a couple seconds.bare skin in that crap and you get frost bit in a matter of 3-5 minutes.
and thanks mark for making us northerners feel real good
your gonna now owe me a couple cold beers when i gat down there april 1st.
man am i counting down the days to get out of this weather up here.
