Looking for an E-body to purchase...
« on: February 20, 2015 - 02:17:30 PM »
Hi, My name is Mark and I just joined the forum...

I am looking to purchase a Challenger or Cuda and a friend of mine (member here) suggested I post in here..   I am looking for a nice driver / strong running car that doesn't need much if anything at all.
Based on where I see pricing, probably a 340 or 383 car.. The 1970 / 1971 Challengers are probably the most attractive to me; I like the A66 Challengers as they don't seem to carry the full R/T price. Any Cuda from 1970 - 1974...

Anyway, my budget is 30k at the moment but for the right car I could possibly go a little higher.
I don't have a lot of free time so a I am not looking for a major project.
Thank you for your time, I look forward to any responses...

I hope this is allowed...
I should also say, (since this is a Mopar forum) I love B-bodies too.. May be interested in the right Charger / Runner.

Mark,

You are the first buyer in a looong time that actually has a budget to get what he wants. You should have no trouble, and good luck to you!!

Thanks Mike, I hope so.... I already like the maturity / "real" owners on here...

I can tell you that from a buyers perspective; between: brokers, dealers wanting 15% over, and dishonest sellers, you really need to sift alot of ads to find an honest seller/car.
