, i was totally unaware of how much a full ground up restoration would cost, although for my 70 Challenger just wheels, tires, an undercarriage paint, interior fixes and a lot of other minor items easily burdened my budget about 7k... The owner clearly had losses, but i don't think many people who love these cars make profit (some do), it's just that these cars are great and you put money (sometimes a lot) into them, so as in someday you get the experience of owning and driving them..
