I was going to say I almost wish mine would crap out so I could justify getting one of those ones that have 2 fridge doors with another door at the bottom for the freezer.  With 3 teenage boys we seem to never be able to keep it full!  :grinno:

So calling a repair man cost $2K ? :dunno: I sure as hell hope not :stomp:

I'm guessing the whole dust issue too...But are 10 year old fridges worth fixing ?

No,no.  I mean it's worth the 100 bucks for a service guy if he can fix the problem.  YOu might save 2K if he can fix it.
to me it's worth the 100 bucks to save 2K.

Didn't know you should clean the vents.  I've never done it and ours is 12 years old and works perfectly.   :dunno:

Funny you mentioned that Brad.....before my wife left for work....I told her not to worry I would go out today and buy a fridge as close to the same as what we have for a replacement.
She wanted no part of that plan....She insisted I wait until she got home so we could go shopping for something updated...she wanted the bottom door freezer deal too......and guess what.....she got what SHE wanted... :smilielol:
