Why doesn't anybody make...
« on: February 27, 2015 - 12:31:31 AM »
an intake manifold for R/RB engines that will accept a bolt on supercharger such as the Kenny Bell unit? -NOT a side hanging unit, one that bolts right to the top of your engine.

HOW difficult could it be? Something that could be used with FAST EFI or other aftermarket stuff?

There HAS to be a market for this.  Build a mild old engine, and have power galore. Why hasn't this been done?

I've been wondering this for years. School me.

Because the twin screw superchargers came out after the hey day of niche manufacturing when you could get all sorts of odd ball intake combos. Now days if the manufacturing can't produce a ba-jillion of them at 100% margin, they aren't going to bother with it.

Don't want a 6-71 sticking out of the hood. Thinking more stealth-like.
Maybe this could be solved with a 3-D printer for the intake?
