Have a little sunshine story to share.
Guess most international members here agree that shipping and taxes on parts from US is a killer. My solution is a broker in LA to whom I send parts. He then repacks my parts into a container and sends is seaways. The boys at the warehouse check for visual damage on the parts but they cannot confirm function and application.
Something wrong there, thats my loss. Once I have the parts in my hand, it is usually too late to claim faulty parts and the shipping cost back to US would be on me.
Anyway, ordered a set of Metro rear panels from Klassicparts, an Ebay seller.
Got it delivered home and happy as a kid on Christmas, I opened the box. Very nice panels but they are for a Challenger, not a Barracuda (as ordered).
Nice, just bought myself some expensive garage wall art....
Contacted Klassicparts expecting a "sorry, too late" or a "return them and we refund you" reply. They replied, been some e-mails back and forth and to my surprise, yesterday I got a USPS tracking no!!! Checked it and YES, they have sent another set FOC!!!!
The first set was drop shipped from Metro so surely they are the ones that messed up. But I conclude that both Klassicparts and Metro are great suppliers that cares for the customer (too bad Metro is out).
Thanks guys!
