Team, I have a 73 Cuda that I'm looking at raising the rear by around 1.5", I have two options available to me, one is have the 4 1/2 leaves re arched, the other is add another leaf under the main.
Which is my better option in regard to handling and performance? as the car sits now the rear leaf spring sits almost flat, ride is good, cornering is ok, rear brakes lock up a little if im breaking into a corner.
Right now I'm leaning toward re arching, keeping the weight down etc. if I'm going to re arch, what info will the spring guys need to know? I assume the rear weight of the car?
does anyone know that?
