K-frame stand

My tranny support right now is 2 pieces of 2x4 wood. I thought I add something like yours, Greg, when I got the package out and can measure better.
Was thinking of adding support to the rear of the engine, but that might just be overdoing it, engine and tranny will probably be but back on the stand at the same time so it dosnet seem like I need it.

Yeah, Alan, I know, should have just copied yours, simple and effective. But at least I get to practice my welding a bit,on something else then my car

So, I modified my stand "twalker" style. Gave it an angle though so it follows the K-frame, just had to make it harder for myself. 
Didn't make them so long behind the K-frame, thought that might get in the way for the steering parts.

Love the TIG, I have much more control than with a MIG, but it defenitely takes a l lot of practice and a steady hand to get it right.. I'm new to it, my first attempt to TIG weld on the car will be the K-frame coming up.
