AAR Cuda RPM's
« on: March 26, 2015 - 09:18:55 PM »
I know this has probably been asked a million times, but can someone out there with a stock setup on their '70 AAR Cuda tell me how many RPM's they are turning at 55-60 MPH? My car does have the 3.91 gears and 727 torqueflite and has reproduction E70 bias ply tires. If you have a similar setup on your car please tell me how many RPM's your car turns at that speed. Thanks a bunch!

Your AAR should have G60's on the rear and E60's on the front. :2cents:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Thanks CP for the website - that's pretty cool. Sorry anlauto - I do have the 60's - that was simply a typing error on my part. I've also got a problem because i'm turning a lot more than 3,000 to 3,300 RPM in the 55-60 speed range. The tranny feels like its shifting okay but it must not be - or perhaps my tach is not correct.
