That looks sweet HP........nice and clean. It's fun working under these cars when the bottoms in as good of shape as the top. Did you have to do something to be able to mount it above the tank like that?? Mine said it was recommended to mount it below the fluid line so I made a bracket to get it down there. :dunno what the purpose of that is so I just did what they said.

Pumps are designed to pump. Not so good at sucking when pump is above tank. Also pump mounted up high should have an anti back flow valve to prevent pump from draining back to tank when shut off.
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

I used a Mallory 4110 on my '71 Challenger mounted near the fuel tank like HP.  It is by far the quietest pump out there and runs like a champ!

It's the best pump by far for performance and noise bar none. Try doing this with either a red or blue holley pump - whoa very noisy.

I don't have any problems where it's mounted but you can mount it lower with a bracket if you like, I don't think necessary but ymmv. I only have to have the pump run for about 3 seconds before starting the motor - and starts fast every time.
