you will have to email me if you want more photos. I cannot get the photos small enough to let them be attached. Sorry. I am not a forum or computer wiz.

I am selling my buddy’s 70 cuda.  Motor is reported to run. Clutch needs replacing along with some other things. Has a 440 and correct 4 speed. Originally a 340 with FOUR SPEED. Fender tag missing. We are looking for it. Looking for build sheets also. Good project.
$14750.00 or best offer.  Email more questions. Keep picture gathering to a minimum. This slows me down. Not super adept at posting photos. That is why I am putting in the link to my craigslist ad.

Sorry, when I wrote the ad I had just about 5 emails from different folks about how the car was ruined by taking the flares off. California craigslist people sometimes have nothing better to do than harass a seller I suppose.

The undercarriage is not that bad. I took a wire brush to an area and it is really surface rust NO pitting on the chassis and pan. Except where it is rusted through.......
It had fiberglass, van looking flares. They were falling off. I thought you would want to see what the metal was like underneath.  Front fenders trimmed. Rear arches trimmed.

Lets see if I can do things right. 70 cuda. Tags missing. Title clean and clear California. This is for real my buddys car who did not have the space or time to deal with it. He bought it from his dads best friend about 10 years ago. If you want to speak with him I will give you his email address. He is in the movie industry and is very hard to get in contact with. That being said......According to the Vin it is an LA car. Came with 340.
I thought it had an auto. looked further. the trans is matching. the colum parts are not for a lever. the tunnel has the hole and buldge for a 4 speed.

No known collision history. Tank is out. Fuel line rusted. Tank has dent but no holes. I did not take the car apart it was brought to me like this. Transmission I was told was a hemi trans. I read the hemi trans has the course splines. This has fine splines. A833 if i recall. Year on trans is 1970 a few months later. This car was a January build. It is reported to need a clutch. It has a scattershield. The engine is a 440.  Code on flat area on top of block says 91440 E  then 8  4. Side of block says 6-29-78.  4006630-440-8
Vin on car is 1-1970   B523HOExxxxxx
The car has condensation surface rust on the floor pans. I rubbed and area with a wire brush and it looks great. Many surfaces are this way.
The rear window leaked. Has rust in left rear bottom. Thus trunk has rust. Minor rust in rear seat floor. Front window left lower corner has some rust. THATS it as far as i can see. Oh yeah one corner of left of trunk lid inside. Oh and left rear quarter and fender from the water in the trunk going between the panels and underneath fiberglass. Much of the dark in the photos is bonding glue for the flares. Not black rust.

Has rallye dash. Gauges are complete but would be happy with restoration. This is a California car that was stored incorrectly. California people freak when they see them like this. I have done a few cars in my lifetime and this one is very tempting....

Email all questions. Photos of specific areas may be able to be done.

Flat area on trans. PPP8333042  454

OF (B) 128557  01.

Fine spline. Two shifter mounting points.

Thanks. Tim.

SO i discovered it is the matching 4 speed and an original 4 speed car.

Seller is probably getting so much crap in an effort to reduce to giveaway price.  But there is a better way to saying the same thing.

I'm sure it's just a bit of craigslist grief.

I wonder if those fenders and quarters can be saved, let alone the undercarriage.
