Gen 3 Hemi
« on: May 16, 2015 - 01:34:39 AM »
I've decided I'm going to put in a modern Gen 3 Hemi into my Challenger. My question is, do I go for the 6.4 or the 7.0? It seems like there are many more parts available for the 6.4, unless parts for the 6.4 and 7.0 are largely interchangeable. Is this the case? If I later decide to buy a supercharger, if it's made for the 6.4 will it fit on the 7.0? Will both of these run on pump 93 octane?

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
