horn location on my 70 cuda

my 70 barracuda did not have horns on it when i bought it. i got a good set of horns but with the engine compartment being freshly painted i don,t know were they go. does anyone have a good picture of were they go

There should be two threaded plates welded to the passenger side inner fender to support and ground the horns. Most reproduction inner fenders don't have these plates, they need to be saved from your old inner fender.
If your inner fender has never been replaced and it doesn't have these plates, then your car is a 73-74 which used a different horn location.

i think anlauto anserd why i could not find the location on my own ! it looks like the left apron was replaced. it looks like they go just below the rubber bumper of the fender, are the indents there at least. i don,t have the car here i will have to go ware it is and check  thank's for the help

Yes, there is raised areas on the inner apron.  :2cents:

I don't have any extras...You could make some out of a thick piece of steel, or simply put nuts on the backside :dunno:

Funny, the purple six pack car I'm restoring, they fell off when I removed the horns...Who ever replaced the inner apron didn't bother welding them in place :screwy:

after i posted about those pieces i though about what you said about making them, and not welding them and burning the paint thanks for the imput    mark
