    i got under the car and the connector detached itself from the tank. does it just push on? or, do i need to tighten it down somehow? Not much room to work under there...

    It just pushes back on. Should have a little bit of a tight/snug fit.

    i pushed it on as best as i could. good news, it worked! no more running out of gas on the highway...
