With out any modification, it works like a stock one without a vacuum advance. Set at 10* initial and about 38* total. Not a super fast advance, more like H.P. Mopar Elect. replacement mechanical curve.
It's nice to have adjustable dist. but they are the cost of a rebuilt 727 automatic with out a core. Kind of a rip off for some bling. But for a drag car probably worth it.
