Wood grain steering restoration on the cheap!
« on: April 28, 2015 - 08:52:14 PM »
I have a wheel, in good shape with a few tiny cracks that will fill nicely with tan epoxy. The wer is typical, nothing too bad but shows age. So, could I redye the wheel with SEM brown, red and tan dye to get a decent at home restoration? I know there is a guy on the forum tht does a great job, but I cannot swing a few hundred on the restoration.

Fantastic! Thanks. I'll give it a try this weekend.
